Dreams: What did I want to achieve?

I wanted to add something to my teaching practice that would be would be ongoing, which I would continue to use consistently in all my lessons/ units and ultimately benefit my students. It also had to be something applicable to my teaching timetable (1 lesson per class each week) and the physical education environment. In other words it needed to be practical, time efficient and manageable.

At the beginning I knew little about ‘Visible Learning’, only through attending a conference delivered by John Hattie in which according to some extensive research he suggested that when teaching and learning are “visible” – that is, when it is clear what teachers are teaching and what students are learning, student achievement increases.

How could I achieve this in my lessons? Without taking too much of the ‘physical’ active learning time (ALTPE) away from physical education.
