I began by reading a summary of John Hattie’s book which in turn led me to looking more closely at how I could implement visible thinking strategies in my class environment. In order to learn more about visible thinking strategies I read the book Making Thinking Visible: How to Promote Engagement, Understanding, and Independence for All Learners by Ron Ritchhart.

 

I then used a selection of Visible Thinking Strategies at different stages of the Inquiry Cycle and assessed their effectiveness. These are documented on the website.
